Mood:(Accomplished)

Books

Tink North of Neverland

Lily in Full Bloom

The Trouble with Tink

Vidia and the Fairy Crown

Fira and the Full Moon

Myka Finds Her Way

A Masterpiece for Bess

Lily in Full Bloom

Prilla and the Butterfly Lie

Dulcie's Taste of Magic

Rani and the Mermaid Lagoon

Tinker Bell Takes Charge

Beck and the Great Berry Battle

Rosetta's Daring Day

Queen Clarion's Secret

Silver Mist and the Lady Bug Curse

Beck Beyond the Sea

Iridessa Lost at Sea

Fawn and the Mysterious Trickster

There you have it. Fawn's and Iridessa's book beat Beck's book for the worst book in the series because at least Beck had Terence being the logical guy he sappoused to be, and Spinner. What do the others have? Nothing

Now for the Fairies

1. Fira

2. Tink/Terence (They're tied)

3. Lyria

4. Prilla

5. Vidia

6. Bobble/Clank (I concider them like one person)

7. Bess

8. Lily/Myka (again tie)

9. Spinner

10. Rosetta

11. Dulcie

12. Silver Mist

13. Fairy Mary

14. Beck

15. Rani

16. Fawn

17. Queen Clarion

18. Iridessa

>_> Lyria needs to start appearing in the books, she's so cool.

Queen Clarion, Myka and Lily in Full Bloom Review

Mood: Geeky
Title: Queen Clarion's Secret
Characters: Queen Clarion, Prilla, Lily, Beck, Terence, Fira and Bess
Rating: Three stars
Synopsis: Queen Clarion is missing! One minute Prilla was flying right behind her, then POOF!—the queen was gone. Meanwhile, someone has taken the precious heart seed from Lily’s rare Fairy Pink rose. Could the queen’s disappearance and the stolen heart seed be connected? With the help of Lily and Beck, Prilla follows clues that Queen Clarion has left behind. The trail leads them all the way to the mysterious High Tree Forest. Prilla knows the queen is somewhere in the vast, dark forest. But how will they ever find her?
Opinion: In case you can't tell I don't like Queen Clarion. I think she's an awful Queen. She shows lasyness and lack of good judgement. So I was actually kind of glad that she wasn't the actual center of the stroy. Instead a fairy I actually like, Prilla was the protagonist. She spies Queen Clarion strolling Lily's garden, see's her steal somthing form the garden and then disapears. Now it's up to Prilla, Lily and Beck to find where she's gone off too.
Despite my liking for Prilla and Lily this book gave me the blahs.
At least Queen Clarion wasn't a complete dumb-ass. She's getting better.
Worth it: Meh no not really

Title: Myka Finds Her Way
Characters- Myka, Bess, Trakk, Clera, Queen Clarion, Tinker Bell, Iris, Nettle, and Vidia
Rating: Four stars
Synopsis: Myka can spot an ant carrying a crumb in a faraway field. She can see an inchworm sliding along a twig in a distant wood. She’s a brave-hearted, sharpeyed fairy scout. Then one morning Myka thinks she spots something dangerous and sounds an alarm—a false alarm. Now Myka’s no longer so sure of herself. She’s starting to think something is wrong with her eyes, but she doesn’t want anyone to know. Can Myka count on her other senses to help her fool everyone?
Opinion: Well after a collapse of five not to great books we came across a winner. Myka Finds her Way brought the series back to it's former glory. Myka was a solid strong character. She isn't silly or airheaded, nor is she overly macho and tough. Myka is just Myka and that's what draw me to her. She suffers from pride, but who doesn't?
and it wasn't just Myka that made the series so good. All the fairies played a good part in making this book fantastic.
Trakk a scouting sparrow man was a good representation of an older fairy. He obviously was somene Myka wanted to impress, but in a big brother little sister kind of way. I like how he was suspicious of the eye-sight but wasn't pushing it on Myka, he let her discover it for herself. He was also concerned for her and wanted her to be taken care of...he seemed like a neat guy to have in a guild (He inspired Picket the scout in Lost Magic)
This was the first book that made me like and appreciate Iris. No longer was she naggy and boastful and critical, she was still thougtless but a little less annoying about it. And her knowledge saved the fairies from eating posionous flowers XD
Clera reminded me of Fairy Mary phyisically.
and Bess was Bess, which is a good thing
and finally Queen Clarion was a pretty good Queen this time around.
Worth it: It's one of the few must haves from this series

Title: Lily in Full Bloom
Characters: Lily, Iris, Aster,Fira, Bluebell, Rosetta, Fawn, Terence, Lympia, Fern, Scarlett, Azure, Dulcie, Takk, Taylor, Breeze and Queen Clarion
Rating: Four Stars
Opinion: Lily has always thought of herself as a garden-talent fairy first and foremost. But after Tink challenges the other talents to think up new ideas, Lily discovers she's pretty good at inventing things, too, like her new flowers, the panglories. They grow anywhere—in dirt, on wood, even on rocks! But then little gray spots pop up, first on the panglories, then on other flowers, until all the plants in Pixie Hollow start losing their colors. Can Lily invent a way out of this new fix?
Opinion: Again Lily pulls through for me. This was a fantastic book, not as good as her first, but not bad by a long shot. Lily faces another delimia when she gets caught up in a competition to invent (created by Tink though she's not to happy about it). She invents a new type of flower called a panglory. They grow everywhere! Everywhere!
But there rapid growth isn't the thing that's causing trouble. it's the fact that they start turning gray! and soon the other plants are turning gray too! And Lily feels it's all her fault.
Rosetta was once again restored to her proper status as a helpful witty fairy. In this book she's Lily's almost "mother-figure" she gets her food when she forgets to get some herself. Advises her on several occasions and defends her during the grey flower diaster.
Iris stayed in my good gracious this time too. She was actually very cute.
Tink was hillarious how she gets mad because the others getting defendy over there talents, because she boasts about how great her talent is. HA Tink you were asking for it!
Worth it: Oh yes
Well that wraps it up. Join me next time for a list of the best book to the worst book and everything in between. Then I'll rank fairies :D

Beck, Lily, Rani, Tinker Bell Takes Charge review

Mood: (artisitc)

Title: Beck and the Great Berry Battle

Characters: Beck, Fawn, Latia, Rosetta, Tink, Terra, Midge, Finn, Cora, Silvermist, Terence, and various animals.

Rating: Two and a half stars

Synopsis: Beck is one of the best animal talent fairies in Pixie Hollow. There's nothing she likes more then speaking bird or mole with the animals. Then one day her funny little hummingbird friend, Twitter, tells her that war has broken out between the chipmunks and the hummingbirds. She thinks he's exaggerating-he's always worried about somthing. But soon the Blackberries start flying. Fairies are getting caught in the crossfire. It's up to get to the bottom of things. Only she can bring peace to Pixie Hollow.

Opinon- Remember when I said the first four books were the best? Yeah apparently I forget how bleh this one is.

I like Beck alright, I love her in the orignal novel, but this one was just.....meh. Predictable begginning predictable middle predictable end. Blah, blah, blah. It was nice to see Rosetta, Fawn and Sil though. This was the first time we'd ever seen any of them. Fawn played a lightly bigger role then the others.

Pros: Animals talents are extremly explored in this book

The movie girls debut

Cons: Flat

Not as touching as the first two

A little silly in my opinion

Worth it: meh....if you like animal talents and Beck you'll like this book alright. and for five dollars its pretty worth it.

Title: Lily's Pesky Plant

Characters: Lily, Iris, Rosetta, Rani, Vidia, Tink, Dulcie, Beck, Fawn, Terence, Pell, Pluck, Spring, and Queen Clarion

Rating: Four stars

Synopsis: Lily has a talent for making things grow. So when she finds a mysterious seed during a walk in the forest, she plants it right away. The ugly seedling that comes up is a surprise, but Lily treasures all plants and has an extra special feeling about this one. It doesn't matter to her that it's ugly....and it smells bad..and it makes everyone in Pixie Hollow sneeze! But it does matter to all the other fairies. The don't like the mysterious plant one bit! Will Lily have to pull up her poor ugly stinky pesky plant?

Opinion: Ahh Lily's Pesky Plant. I have a fond memory of looking at this book and thinking "How streotypical a mexican garden fairy" but I bought it anyway. I was startled at how good this book was. It sounded stupid from the summery, but that just proves you can't judge a book by its cover.

Here we have Lily a calm logical and sweet gardne fairy with a green thumb. She's not at all like the garden fairies we think of now(Flashy girly glamourous). She's very sutdious and patient as most gardeners. And she has a special attachment to a very ugly very porblamatic plant.

What I liked about it was that Lily stuck to her guns. Everyone told her to cut it down but she refused. and in the end it payed off! Lily's hard work and unconditional love payed off! The plant was fantastic!

Pros: Lily is an enjoyable fairy

Iris character development is facinating

The story is short and sweet and easy to get into

All the fairies are represented well

Cons: Vidia was given a bad girl rep but who could blame her?

Worth it: Yes

Title: Rani and the Mermaid Lagoon

Characters: Rani, Fira, Tink, Vidia, Terence, Beck, and the Mermaids

Rating: Three and a half stars

Synopsis: Poor Rani! It isn't easy being the only fairy in Pixie Hollow who diesn't have wings. She doesn't feel like she really belongs with the water talent fairies anymore. In fact maybe she doesn't belong with any fairies at all!

Rani leaves Pixie Hollow and goes to the Mermaid Lagoon. She learns how to breathe underwater. She gets to visit the mermaids beautiful castle. The mermaids fix her hair and dress her up. But Rani diesn't quite fit in with mermaids either. So just where dies she belong?

Opinion: I never liked Rani right from the get go, she was to mary sue for me and to whiny. But this book did bump her up in the ranks a little.

Rani is presented as a character you feel for but don't empathize with. I never really felt like I knew how she was feeling at all through the story. I didn't connect with her. I did however develop feelings of fear for her at parts and apprihense happiness when she is taken by the mermaids.

I did however enjoy the Terence,Rani, Tink, and Fira fall scene. These four along with Prilla are (in the comics) the "friends" the ones always goofing off with each other.

Pros: Rani became a more likeable character

Terence/Tink/Rani/Fira fall scene was great

The Mermaids were a nice change

Fira is introduced to the series

Cons: Rani is not a connectable character

The Water Fairy crying thing is annoying

The story lags at parts

Rani got a bit more credit then she deserved.

Worth it: Meh if you like water fairies and Rani then yes....

Title: Tinker Bell Takes Charge

Characters: Tinker Bell, Rani, Dulcie, Queen Clarion, Terence,Angus, Lily, Prilla, Beck, Florian, Cedar, Gwinn, Bess, Jerome, Spring,

Rating: Three and a half stars

Synopsis: A pots and pans talent fairy, Tinker Bell loves most kinds of metal. But she doesn not love the hugs cannonball that Captian Hook accidentally fires into Pixie Hollow one day. It crashes through the Home Tree, lands smack in the middle of the courtyard and cannot be moved. Tink vos to get rid of the cannonball and get back at Captian Hook. It's a lot fora five inch fairy to take on. But if anyone can do it, its Tinker Bell. The only problem is none of her ideas are working. Tink loves a challenge, but is this one problem even she can't solve?

Opinion: The Most boring of the Tink books it isn't bad though. Tink once again takes the spotlight as she is handed a problem that may be a bit to big for her to chew. Taking care of a cannonball problem.

I was bothered how everyone just sat there and expected Tink to do all the thinking for them. Why arn't they trying to come up with there own ideas? Tink's only one fairy people.

and what's with Terence kind airheadedness the whole time? He kind of doesn't much to react to all this craziness around him. He's just in his own little fairy world.

oh and then there was Angus! Gah my third favorite sparrow man from the book series! I loves his pessimism

Pros: Tink playing hero again, and this time she did a fantastic job at it

There were so many fairies here! We got to see everyone at least once it seemed!

Hook

Cons: Lgging story

Left a lot to be desired

Worth it? Meh if you like Tink and her talent then yes

Well Not a great batch this time around, to bad. Next I'll be reviewing Fira and the Full Moon, A Masterpiece for Bess, and Prilla and the Great Butterfly Lie
