Fairies in New York

That's the title of me and Cordi's new collaborative Tinkerbell Fanfiction. The basis is that Tink and gang get transfered to the human world (as humans) of cource they have no idea about half the crap that we humans have (like Tvs, Computers, Video Games, make-up, and such) and so they decide to live in the home of collage student Anna (me :D) Anna is a fervent fairy believer and because of that she can see that these crazy group are really fairies in disguise. She offers to teach them the Clumsy way and tries to get them to fit in. However this is easier said then done and it isn't long before Anna finds herself in heap of trouble with the law, her family, her friends and even her job. She must decide between helping her new friends fend for themselves in a new world or kicking them out and getting her own life back in order.
That's all we have so far. We need a reason as to why there humans in the first place (suggestions would help)
The fairies being transfered are Tinker Bell, Rosetta, Silver Mist, Iridessa, Fawn, Vidia, Terence, Clank and Bobble. (Originally we were going to have Fairy Mary go to but we thought that was one to many, and that Fairy Mary wouldn't be as fun to work with in a New York setting). The humans that are heavily involved or Anna, her best friend Danielle who attends NYU, the make-up artist Connor that becomes involved with the fairies when Rosetta goes to him asking him to give Fawn a make-over and discovers there true identities when Terence acidently uses magic in the store. Anna's mom's cousin Lori also palys a large part in the story and Anna's boss Francis at the botique she works for.

The story is mostly sillyness and writting the fairies into embaressing situations but it does the tale the tale of strong friendships being formed between Anna and the fairies, as well as the value of sticking to what you know is right, defending other even when it puts yourself in danger, even a bit of romance (between Danielle and Connor and if you squint between Tink and Terence)
Weve got (already) a bunch of situations for the fairies to go through. One with Rosetta discovering Sakk's Fifth Avenue, Fawn in the Musem of Natural History, Silver Mist and a pool, Terence discovering a sex education book, Bobble and Clank trying to figure out a farris wheel, and another Terence one where he and Iridessa run into some pot heads (and I'll let you discover what happens to them later ;) ) Were even debating having a scene where they go to Disney World, but it's still under heavy debate.
The fairies are not stupid, and still tend to use common sense throughout the book, but they can't help but be curious and there for get themselves in trouble. Terence though usually the voice of reason gets himself in trouble more then anyone, and ongoing gag were going to have with him is having him constantly get mobbed by teenage girl whenever he has his shirt off. Bobble and Clank tend to take things apart to discover how they work and cause a lot of mechanical issues about the city, Iridessa is a germ a phobe and constantly has mental breakdowns in the subway. Silver Mist is Silver Mist which you know is going to be a issue, Fawn doesn't so much cause trouble but she always tries to talk to animals (she can still understand them) and gets werid looks from bystanders. Tink is just mad all the time and gets into fights. Rosetta continuely maxes Anna's card out on clothes (Anna stops this and tells Rosetta she'll sew Ro her own clothes) and doesn't understand why guys keep paying her all this attention. Vidia is the only one who doesn't get herself into any situations, she mostly keeps to Anna and copies or does what Anna does. Sometimes she'll help Anna out with the fairies, but most of the time she'll just watch in amusement as the make a specticale of themselves and crack jokes.

Queen Clarion, Myka and Lily in Full Bloom Review

Mood: Geeky
Title: Queen Clarion's Secret
Characters: Queen Clarion, Prilla, Lily, Beck, Terence, Fira and Bess
Rating: Three stars
Synopsis: Queen Clarion is missing! One minute Prilla was flying right behind her, then POOF!—the queen was gone. Meanwhile, someone has taken the precious heart seed from Lily’s rare Fairy Pink rose. Could the queen’s disappearance and the stolen heart seed be connected? With the help of Lily and Beck, Prilla follows clues that Queen Clarion has left behind. The trail leads them all the way to the mysterious High Tree Forest. Prilla knows the queen is somewhere in the vast, dark forest. But how will they ever find her?
Opinion: In case you can't tell I don't like Queen Clarion. I think she's an awful Queen. She shows lasyness and lack of good judgement. So I was actually kind of glad that she wasn't the actual center of the stroy. Instead a fairy I actually like, Prilla was the protagonist. She spies Queen Clarion strolling Lily's garden, see's her steal somthing form the garden and then disapears. Now it's up to Prilla, Lily and Beck to find where she's gone off too.
Despite my liking for Prilla and Lily this book gave me the blahs.
At least Queen Clarion wasn't a complete dumb-ass. She's getting better.
Worth it: Meh no not really

Title: Myka Finds Her Way
Characters- Myka, Bess, Trakk, Clera, Queen Clarion, Tinker Bell, Iris, Nettle, and Vidia
Rating: Four stars
Synopsis: Myka can spot an ant carrying a crumb in a faraway field. She can see an inchworm sliding along a twig in a distant wood. She’s a brave-hearted, sharpeyed fairy scout. Then one morning Myka thinks she spots something dangerous and sounds an alarm—a false alarm. Now Myka’s no longer so sure of herself. She’s starting to think something is wrong with her eyes, but she doesn’t want anyone to know. Can Myka count on her other senses to help her fool everyone?
Opinion: Well after a collapse of five not to great books we came across a winner. Myka Finds her Way brought the series back to it's former glory. Myka was a solid strong character. She isn't silly or airheaded, nor is she overly macho and tough. Myka is just Myka and that's what draw me to her. She suffers from pride, but who doesn't?
and it wasn't just Myka that made the series so good. All the fairies played a good part in making this book fantastic.
Trakk a scouting sparrow man was a good representation of an older fairy. He obviously was somene Myka wanted to impress, but in a big brother little sister kind of way. I like how he was suspicious of the eye-sight but wasn't pushing it on Myka, he let her discover it for herself. He was also concerned for her and wanted her to be taken care of...he seemed like a neat guy to have in a guild (He inspired Picket the scout in Lost Magic)
This was the first book that made me like and appreciate Iris. No longer was she naggy and boastful and critical, she was still thougtless but a little less annoying about it. And her knowledge saved the fairies from eating posionous flowers XD
Clera reminded me of Fairy Mary phyisically.
and Bess was Bess, which is a good thing
and finally Queen Clarion was a pretty good Queen this time around.
Worth it: It's one of the few must haves from this series

Title: Lily in Full Bloom
Characters: Lily, Iris, Aster,Fira, Bluebell, Rosetta, Fawn, Terence, Lympia, Fern, Scarlett, Azure, Dulcie, Takk, Taylor, Breeze and Queen Clarion
Rating: Four Stars
Opinion: Lily has always thought of herself as a garden-talent fairy first and foremost. But after Tink challenges the other talents to think up new ideas, Lily discovers she's pretty good at inventing things, too, like her new flowers, the panglories. They grow anywhere—in dirt, on wood, even on rocks! But then little gray spots pop up, first on the panglories, then on other flowers, until all the plants in Pixie Hollow start losing their colors. Can Lily invent a way out of this new fix?
Opinion: Again Lily pulls through for me. This was a fantastic book, not as good as her first, but not bad by a long shot. Lily faces another delimia when she gets caught up in a competition to invent (created by Tink though she's not to happy about it). She invents a new type of flower called a panglory. They grow everywhere! Everywhere!
But there rapid growth isn't the thing that's causing trouble. it's the fact that they start turning gray! and soon the other plants are turning gray too! And Lily feels it's all her fault.
Rosetta was once again restored to her proper status as a helpful witty fairy. In this book she's Lily's almost "mother-figure" she gets her food when she forgets to get some herself. Advises her on several occasions and defends her during the grey flower diaster.
Iris stayed in my good gracious this time too. She was actually very cute.
Tink was hillarious how she gets mad because the others getting defendy over there talents, because she boasts about how great her talent is. HA Tink you were asking for it!
Worth it: Oh yes
Well that wraps it up. Join me next time for a list of the best book to the worst book and everything in between. Then I'll rank fairies :D

Silvermist, Fawn, Rosetta, and Iridessa Review

Mood: (amused)

Title: Silver Mist and the Lady Bug Curse
Characters: Silver Mist, Fira, Iris, Vidia, Tinker Bell, Hem,Terence, Beck, Clera, Humidia, Spring, Queen Clarion, Prilla
Rating: Two and a half stars
Synopsis: Nothing rattles Silver Mist. She's the calmest water-talent fairy around ans as cool as a deep mountian lake. But then an "unlucky" white ladybug lands on Silvermist's head, and her orderly world is goes topsy-turvy. She's not the type of fairy to lose things or have accidents or make mistakes...untill now. Silvermist doesn't believe in bad luck and silly old fairy superstition. But now all her troubles began after she found the white ladybug. Could the other fairies be right? Is Silvermist really under a curse?
Opinion: Well Silver Mist was until very recently my least favorite fairy. She's annoying and lacks a good original personality. This book is like her. Boring, annoying and has no original personality. In this book Silver Mist has to deal with superstitious fairies after a ladybug lands on her head. and then she has to deal with her own creeping fear the luck may or may not be real.
The story was boring, but Fira, and Hem are nice.
and I was miffed Terence's sensibility got lost here. Now he seems just as supersticious as the others. Which annoys me greatly. Terence wouldn't buy into the curse just like he wouldn't buy into Beck stealing feathers or Bess' fad.
Pros: Fira
Seeing Hem again
Vidia's funny stories that mad Sil doubt herself
Cons: The rest of the story pretty much
worth it: Nope
Title: Fawn and the Mysterious Trickster
Characters: Fawn, Beck, Tink, Rosetta, Tor, Rani, Silver Mist, Terence, Dulcie
Rating: One star
Synopsis: Fawn loves practical jokes. So when her friend Beck plays a trick that scares the pixie dust off her, Fawn is impressed. She gets Beck back, and in the blink of a dragonfly's eye, the two fairies are in an all-out practical joke battle!
Prank fallows prank, until one night someone turns all the furniture in Beck's room upside down. And it wasn't Fawn! But if Fawn didn't do it....and Beck didn't do it. then who did? Is there another trickster in the Home Tree?
Opinion: Awful. Just Awful. This book has nothing, nothing to offer that was good. Fawn is a cool fairy (I've always liked her) but this book had absolutly nothing to do with her talent! I think we see her dealing with animals twice.....once with Twitter and once with mice. and the whole prank thing was awful.
The end
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything
Worth it: Oh hell no

Title: Rosetta's Daring Day
Characters: Rosetta, Fawn, Rani, Fira, Tink, Vidia, Queen Clarion
Rating: Three stars
Synopsis:Rosetta and Fawn are complete opposites. Rosetta loves fancy dresses and flowers. Fawn would rather go on adventures with her animal friends. Then the queen throws a fancy dinner, and Fawn decides she doesn’t want to go. So Rosetta makes a deal with her. If Fawn dresses up for the dinner and minds her manners, Rosetta will spend a day doing whatever Fawn wants. Rosetta thinks it’s the perfect plan. But she never imagined just what Fawn would want to do! Can their friendship survive a day of frogs, mud, and . . . worms?
Opinion: Out of all the movie girls Rosetta has the best book. Her book shows two fairies who are completly different, and that's what brings them together as friends. So when a ball is announced Fawn and Rosetta make a simple deal. Fawn will dress up and behave and the next day Rosetta will do whatever Fawn wants. This turns out to be a mistake on her part. Because she's stuck doing things she would have never dreamed of doing.
Personally I like Rosetta. She's neat, and orderly and more thoughtful then some of the other fairies (cough Iridessa cough) but it bothered me that she never did anything during the fire. In most representations Rosetta may be falshy and girly but she's not a jerk or lazy. She would jump in and do what she could to help during a fire. So that was OCC on her part. But Fawn was absolutly horrible in this book. She slams into Rosetta's flower and doesn't care. She neglects all the hard work the sewing and shoe making fairies made to make her her dress and shoes by almost dropping them and then she goes and makes Rosetta do all this crap she KNOWS Rosetta won't want to do! and uses Rosetta's promise against her.
oh well for once Queen Clarion was a good Queen but maybe that's becuase she didn't do anything really.
Worth it: Meh if your a Rosetta fan like me then yes. If you don't want to see Fawn act like an ass then no

Title: Iridessa Lost at Sea
Characters: Iridessa, Tinker Bell, Beck, Queen Clarion, Mermaids, Melina, and Fira briefly
Rating: Two and a half stars
Synopsis: How did super-orderly Iridessa get into such a fix? First, Tink’s crazy idea to take a pirate bottle from Captain Hook goes horribly wrong. Then, in the flutter of a fairy’s wing, Iridessa and Tink find themselves trapped inside the bottle, floating forlornly on the ocean waves! But as they bob along, the bottle crosses paths with all sorts of unusual sea life, from green turtles to flying fish to beautiful, but selfish, mermaids. And gradually, Iridessa learns something new—a little adventure isn’t such a bad thing!

Opinion: I liked Iridessa in Tink's book she was cool. But here, the movies and the comics she AWFUL like want to throw up in your mouth awful (she's nice at the parks though, she's funny) I bought this book expecting that maybe it would make me appreciate a fairy I did not care for but it only made my dislike for her stronger. Here Iridessa is put in charge of figuring out how to do away with the owl that has nested to close to the Home Tree. Tink offers to help but instead of being grateful for Tink to step in and offer ideas all Iridessa does is complain and critize her ideas. She snaps at her for being helpful. What kind of friend is that? It would have been alright if she had realized her mistake and apologized right away, no she has to stew on it before she decides to apologize. and then when Tink again trying to help gets caught in a bottle and Iridessa with her, she just spends the whole time bitching at Tink. It was a bitch fest the whole book between the two. I just got sick of it. Iridessa is a horrible friend and Tink needs to do away with her.
Worth it: NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Unless you like a good bitch fest then yeah I guess.
Bleh the Four movie girls books wern't to good were they? Hopefully the next batch will be better. The last three are Queen Clarion's Secret, Myka Finds her Way, and Lily in Full Bloom, afterwards I'll review Fairy Haven and the Quest for the Wand and list the books in my opinion from best to worst.

Terence and the Dust Disaster among other things

Mood: (Busy)

so on top of reading reviewing. I'm also writing, drawing, sewing, and studying (sigh)

but mostly Writing and reading.

I've laways felt Terence deserves a book he's such a central character but he always gets shoved aside for the girls. So I'm going to write and illustrate on for him.

Terence and the Dust Disaster

Characters-

Terence-Obviously, The Main protagonist a dust talent

Prilla- Terence's best friend, a mainland-clapping talent

Myka-Terence's friend, a scout

Rani- Terence's friend and water talent

Jerome- A fellow Dust talent

Todd- A fellow dust talent that is jealous of Terence

Jenna-A fellow dust talent

Lyria- A friend of Terence, a story teller

Tor- a story teller

Lymphia-A laundry talent

Breeze-A laundry talent

Tinker Bell- A pots and pants fairy

Vidia- a fast flyer

Antea- A garden fairy who is in a relationship with Jerome

Silver Mist- a Friend of Terence, a water fairy

Queen Clarion- The Queen

Terence, Prilla, Myka and Rani are the four main ones.

Oh yeah Mother Dove's there too. I always thought it was werid how they never showed much a connection between Terence and Mother Dove. I mean He is a Dust Fairy and dust comes from her feathers. It would make sense to have her mean a lot to him.

Synopsis- Terence has always been Pixie Hollow's best Fairy Dust talent, he has also always been Pixie Hollow's shyest and most humble fairy. So he's honnored but a little nervous when he gets chosen to create a faster and more effective system to create Pixie Dust. With a little help from his friends he creates an invention he's positive will help. However the day they start using the machine the dust starts to make the make the fairies magic topsy turvy! With one disaster after another Terence is sure he' s a failure, to his talent guild and to the fairies. But with a little encouragement from some friends and belief in himself he might find there is another explanation to this dusty problem.

:D

I'm also working with Lost Magic don't fret, it coming along.

I'm also working on a one shot for Lyria during Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure that deals with Lyria, Viola and Queen Clarion.

AND I'm thinking of doing a one-shot Vidia's feelings toward Prilla, Tink, Rani, Terence and Queen Clarion.

So much to do! So much to do!

<= Antea for those who are wondering. She's real!

Fairy Dust, Tink, Vidia

Todays mood: Content

So let me just start off by telling you how this review thing is gonna go. First I'm going to list the book, the characters in the book, and my up to five star rating of it. Then I'll give you synopsis, then my opinion then the pros and cons of the book and finally wether it's worth buying or not. So umm yeah here goes nothing!

Title: Fairy Dust and the Quest for the Egg

Author: Gail Carson Levine

Characters: Prilla, Tinker Bell, Rani, Vidia, Mother Dove, Queen Calrion, Terence, Beck, Bess, Moth(Fira), Dulcie, Kyto, Soop, and the Hawk

Rating: Five Stars

Synopsis: Prilla, Fairy Haven's newest fairy is a bit of an oddball. She uses clumsy phrases such as pleased to meet you, sorry, and pardon me, wants to shake hands and curtsie to the Queen, and over all acts more like a clumsy then a never fairy. What's worse she doesn't even know what her talent is! The Never Fairies don't know what to make of her. Then to make matters worse, a hurricane hits Neverland and destroys it very source of magic. Now it's up to three brave fairies to take a dangerous quest to save not just Fairy Haven but all of Neverland itself.

Opinion: Fairy Dust was the offical birth of the Disney Fairy francise and I must say having Gail Carson Levine write this story was one of the smartest things Disney has ever done for itself in years. I've been a fan of GCL since I was a wee thing and read Ella Enchanted. I was all to happy to find out she had written about Tinker Bell, who had been a favorite Disney character of mine for a while. And I wasn't disapointed in this novel. GCL created a fantasy utopia. She took the bits of information JM Barrie provided us with and built on it a grand and facinating world. The Never Fairies though the undoubtable heros of the story, are shown to be, just as Barrie described, a bit snobby and self-interested. They want very little to do with the Clumsy world, or much of any other world for that matter (Other then Rani and her obsession with Mermaids and Pirlla) You could go even further and see that each fairy wanted very little to with another fairies talent. they might have appreciated it, but no one was going to admit that another talent was better then theres, or that they might even have the tiniest smidgen of intrest in another talent. Everyone was completly talent obsessed, and it ran there entire lives. Tink was a great asset to Gail. She kept Tink very much into character from the novel Peter Pan and the movie. She's not nice, but she's not bad either. She's just self obsorbed and talent orintated. In my opinion Tink was never any better then Vidia when you think about it. She didn't exactly welcome Prilla with open arms. I also thing Vidia was a good cahracter, and I give Gail kudos for creating her. again we have someone who is self-centered, mean spirited and michevious, but not a villian. In fact in some parts Vidia is more a hero then any of the others. And her sacrafice with the dust at the end, her staying when Prilla begged, and her getting emotional over Rani's wings prove she's really not bad at heart. I think (As some one put once) "Vidia honestly thinks she's the only logical sensible fairy in a world of idiots" and some times I have to agree with that statement. Prilla was a very good proagonist. Most kids the age that the books were written for, are going through the same internal struggle she is, what am I good at? Where will I fit in society? What difference will I make in the world? These are all things Prilla had to explore and answer and the answers didn't just magically come all at once. No Prilla had to struggle with many things, and not just the quest, she had to deal with rude and nasty people, people trying to force her to do somthing she knew she couldn't do, struggling to find friends, to be appreciated. All things everyone deals with at some point in there life. Maybe not at a young age, but when we get older. That's why I think so many can connect with Prilla. She's just like a lot of us. Looking to find who we are. Terence gave the book a good bit of male spice. To me Terence showed the reality of love. That it's not all rainbow and sunshine. It's a mess of tangled up complex issues. Terence didn't get Tink by being a "nice guy" which is what her is naturally. He didn't get her with a charming smile and a few well placed lines and he doesn't get her because he does somthing heroic. Terence just doesn't get Tink. That happens a lot in real life. People fall in love, but no matter how hard they try or what they do, there love is never requitted. You also have to give Terence his props for keeping at it. That shows true and honest and pure love. When you can be walked all over, ignored and pushed around and still think the sun shines from there butt. (Which Terence obviously does). Terence knows Tink is a nice girl, he knows she isn't interested in him, and he knows she isn't about to change, but he still loves her, and he loves her for all the mentioned reasons. Kudos Terence, you truly have a pair of balls XD As for Rani, I can't say much for her. I didn't like her nor did I like the Queen or the Dove. but there is somthing you don't like in every book and it would be stupid to hate a book just because a few minor things. Rani was tolerable enough that I didn't completly dislike her and there wasn't much of Queen Clarion thankfully. Over all this story was not just fantasy and fun with some well written characters. It's also a good life lesson about coming of age and finding out just who your going to be. I think people of any age could enjoy and connect with this book. I toast GCL for this masterpiece and I recomend this book to anyone! (My mother and grandmother both LOVE this book)

Pros: The story is one, one can easily connect to.

The Characters are all characters we can understand, feel for and learn from.

The story moves fast enough to keep your attention, but slow enough that you can keep up

They way she words things I really feel like I'm there.

It's good for the whole family.

Cons: Queen Clarion and Mother Dove are treated like gods which bothered me

Rani's continoues crying

Worth it: Def worth your money! A book you can read over and over again!

Title: The Trouble with Tink

Author: Kiki Thorpe

Character: Tinker Bell, Terence, Rani, Prilla, Queen Clarion, Vidia, Dulcie, Violet, Peter Pan Rating: Four stars

Synopsis: Tink has always been the best Tinker in Pixie Hollow, no doubt. But when she loses her hammer during a game of tag, things suddenly turn topsy turvy. Everything Tink works on turns out worse then when she started. Tink knows she needs another hammer. But her spare is in Peter Pan's hideout! and she's to scared to go get. Will Tink have to give up Tinkering forever? Or will maybe, with a friend's help, Tink be able to work up the courage to go visit her old friend?

Opinion: the first four books from the series are in my opinion all the best. We didn't have any oocness and amazing original plots. The Trouble with Tink though stands out to me as the best of the best though (Though Lily's Pesky Plant and Vidia and the Fairy Crown come in as a close second) Why you ask? because it had everything! It had the internal struggle with Tink while she tries to figure out what to do about the hammer, it has the outward struggle as she messes up things in the Hollow, and falls out of favor with all but a few fairies. It has a twinge of romance between both Tink and Terence and Tink and Peter. And finally it has just a true feel that this isn't some secluded area in Neverland that has nothing to do with Neverland really, but it has the feel that this is just merely a part of Neverland and they are just as much Neverlanders as Peter Pan or the Pirates or anyone else on the island. It was this story that first drew me to Terence and it is this book that kept me liking him all these years. He in every way reminds me of my best friend (without the having a crush on me thing) He is caring thoughtful and very willing to help. Several scenes I was touched but what he did for Tink even when she was mean to him (Ex: He brought her a muffin and milk even after she snapped at him and told him to leave) the scene when he offered to go with Tink to Peter's remains my favorite moment in the fairy series. Not because of the romantic sense it has but just the whole thing with Tink putting all her trust in Terence by telling him her secret, and then revealing Peter Pan(somthing she never tells the other fairies about). And then Terence getiing the jist that Tink was embaressed over the whole ordeal and not asking questions or needling for more information. Instead just simply offering to go with her, to help her. That to me is what true friendship is about. Understanding and trusting blindly, without any prove or information. Those two are the eptiome of being best friends and it shows immensly in this novel.

Pros: Tink is Tink which is a good thing

More Terence time!

The story isn't some silly book trying to teach some pointless moral, it's just good clean fun.

Peter Pan makes an appearance and we learn about him and Tink's history

Two words: Prilla Vidia

Cons: A bit of a lag in the middle of the story

Vidia is made into a bit of a bad guy

The ending miffed me, it still felt unfinished

Worth it: Yes! This book is worth the five dollers you have to fork out for it

Title: Vidia and the Fairy Crown

Author:

Characters: Vidia, Prilla, Queen Clarion, Tink, Rani, Grace, Rhia, Lisel, Cinda, Adien, Lymphia, Nora, Twire, and Duce

Rating: Four Stars

Synopsis: Vidia is know for her sour additude, and rude remarks, but is she a theif? When one of her comments is turned against her after the Queen's Crown goes missing, Vidia is charged with stealing the crown! She has a day to prove her innocence, or face banishment from the Hollow forever. It's going to take a miralce to pull this off, or a certian redhead fairy.

Opinion: Vidia was always a favorite of mine fairy wise. I've always enjoyed seeing misunderstood characters rise above the prejudice and Vidia always seems to do that. In this book we are shown how mistreated Vidia is among the Never Fairies. She's always the first to be blamed for everything. Did it ever occur to the fairies that the crown might have been misplaced? Or that through the attendents carelessness it ended up in somelse's hands? No. But it sure occured to them that Vidia could have stole it! After all she's done for them and there kingdom and they still treat her like that. but does Vidia let the prejudice get to her? Nope, she just keeps being Vidia. Plain and Simple, and she always shows those silly fairies she's not responsible for every mishap in Pixie Hollow. Here as she fights for her innocence she is joined by another misunderstood fairy. Prilla. The fairy understands that Vidia is Pixie Hollow's scape goat and despite Vidia's sometimes uncessiary nastiness Prilla steps in and offers to help her when no one else will. And though Vidia never says it flat out, she shows Prilla she is thankful for her help. We also met some great fairies here. My favorite being Adien the crown repairing sparrow man. but all were fun to aquaint with, and many made it into future stories.

Pros: Vidia being the hero for the second time

Tink and Rani being made a fool out of! (I love Tink but it's great to see her being put in her place sometimes)

Meeting fairies from different talents

The growing friendship between Prilla and Vidia

Cons: Queen Clarion's random and unfair punishment (I mean banishment? Vidia stole feathers from Mother Dove and got away with less! Isnt feathers from Mother Dove more important then a silly crown?)

This book also ended with a feeling is was unfinished.

Worth it?: YES! Vidia and the Fairy Crown is worth the five dollars.

These were a good batch of books. I enjoyed them all. The next four I'll be doing (As soon as I finish them) are Beck and the Great Berry Battle, Lily's Pesky Plant, Rani and the Mermaid Lagoon and Tinker Bell Takes Charge.

and as a last thought. I will be doing a "chapter book" of my own that I plan on illustrating (I'll put the illustrations up on my Deviantart) on Terence. The book is roughly titled "Terence and the Dust Disaster" of cource Terence will the main character but we will also see a lot of Prilla(since next to Tink she is Terence's best friend) Rani, Myka and Jerome(Dust Talent that appears a few times in the book series and comics) Belive it or not Tink won't be in it much. Lyria, Vidia, Lymphia, Antea, Silver Mist, and Tor are all going to appear too.

Wow

Today's Mood: Chill
Today's Song- Dance in the Dark-Lady Gaga

I havn't posted in forever. But tomarrow I will review Fairy Dust and the Quest for the Egg, The Trouble with Tink and Vidia and the fairy crown.
