Today's Feeling-Tired
Through the Looking Glass- Anna is a sixteen year old who finds herself strangely mixed up in an arranged marriage to man whom she’s never met. At first she is uncertain and angered by her parents’ announcement that in three months time she is to wed, but she slowly comes to accept it. She admits secretly to Jordan that even if the man turns out to be old and ugly she’ll have the comfort of being rich (she knows her fiancée is rich because her ring is from Tiffany’s 2010 Diamonds are Forever collection, and the model is the most expensive from the collection a whopping 30,00 dollars.)
While planning for the wedding she finds all she has to do is write a letter to her fiancée telling him what she wants and the proper amount of money is given to her. This allows her to buy a 12,000 Micheolita wedding dress a pair of wedding bands that cost 10,00 altogether, a reception in a high end building in Orlando that costs 290,000 dollars to rent out for four hours. As well as book a week in New York’s Plaza, the most expensive high end hotel in all of America for the Honeymoon.
The day of the Wedding Anna is surprised to find that her husband Chester Katt is a handsome man in his early twenties, his family made it big in the medical field that, he is the third richest man in America. Anna marries him though she still wishes she wasn’t and longs to refuse the vows, but doesn’t for fear she will disappoint her father. While on the plane to New York Anna gets her real first conversation with Chester and decides that she might be comfortable in life as his wife. There Honeymoon is a very relaxing one to Anna who had been stressed from school and she finds she does enjoy Chester’s company. She returns to Florida and is introduced to the maid Mary and butler James of her mansion. She returns to school and is welcomed by her friends who are eager to find what married life is like. She only confines again in Jordan how nerve-racking first nights are. Especially to a man you might not like.
School lets out and Chester books a vacation for him Anna and Jordan to the Caribbean the tree pal around and have fun but Anna notes some oddities about her husband, like his almost freakishly cat like reflexes and senses. The three return from the vacation and Chester starts heading back to work leaving Anna to lazy days to herself (she spends most days sewing or shopping for materials) While looking for a shirt Chester tells her he needs mending Anna uncovers a strange Mirror with a big black spot on it, curious Anna reaches forward to wipe the dot and it disappears and so does Anna’s finger. Surprised Anna walks into the mirror, and walks straight through it into another room of her house she recognizes as the bathroom. Freaked out Anna run downstairs calling for Mary but gets no reply. She finds that most of the furniture is floating; some rooms swirl together and change colors. She runs outside and bumps into a little boy who yells at her to watch it, he then cries he’s late and runs off. Anna fallows after him and asks for his help. She finally get’s help from a business man who tells her to go “The Caterpillar” that he might help her.
She fallows the man’s directions to an old building and finds “The Caterpillar’s” office. The man turns out to be a drug dealer who is always sucking on a hookah. She asks where she is and where is Chester? “The Caterpillar” tells her (after repeating a few times who is she) that Anna’s in Wonderland and Chester is most likely in the “Tea House”
The Tea House is Wonderland’s most popular bar. The owner is a rabbit like man named March James Hare, the Bar Tender (who is also a part time hatter) keeps changing his name every five minutes and Anna dubs him “The Mad Hatter” and a little boy that helps them out named Door Mouse. As “The Caterpillar” Chester is there, Anna demands to know what’s going on and Chester however just smiles and disappears.
Anna wakes up in her bed, Chester beside her. Angry she again demands to know what’s going on, but Chester laughs and tells her she was having a mad dream. She asks Mary about the mirror but she knows nothing about it. Anna goes to find it but finds it has disappeared. Chester leaves for work leaving Anna to do as she please. Anna invites Jordan over and the two began a movie watching marathon half way through the movie Jordan gets up, she comes back and tells Anna the mirror in her bathroom has a black dot on it. Anna grabs her friend’s hand and runs to the bathroom. Indeed the dot is there and when Anna goes to wipe it away her finger disappears. Happily she pulls Jordan through the mirror with her.
