Well yesterday me and a very close friend of mine(Emmy) hit Disney. We went to the park opening at nine. And headed directly for The Haunted Mansion our favorite ride before it got crowded. We literally got to walk right on in. Ushered in by a woman who looked freakishly like my old Cooking teacher. While experiancing the pure awesomeness of this ride my friend told me that for both Halloween and Christmas they redo the Haunted Mansion in Claifornia in a "The Nightmare Before Christmas" theme. This made me both happy and sad. I'm glad Disney hasn't abandoned The Nightmare Before Christmas as there movie completly but I have no plans to go to california's Disney anytime in the next twenty years XP. After The Haunted Masnion we headed over to Pixie Hollow to meet my good fairy friends. On the way there we found The Evil Stepmother and the Evil Step Sisters. I havn't seen them in years but I remember when I was younger feeling sorry for the step sisters at the end of the movie, and rooting for them every time I watched the movie Cinderella (which was a movie I hated passionatly) So of cource I HAD to get a picture with them. The stepmother was so unusually nice to me and Emmy, I loved her bunched and bunches. The redheaded sister was hillarious. Someone shouted "I love you Anastasia!" and she said "I love you too! Why don't you propose to me? I'm on the market!" She had amazing make-up too!
We left them and went to Toontown Fair where we got in line for the fairies. The lady standing at the entrance told us that Tink wasn't available at the time but we were going to meet three of her friends. We didn't care if Tink was there or not (Though I love Tink bunches and bunches) I was there for Rosetta and Emmy was there because I was dragging her there. (I knew Terence wouldn't be out till later) we waited in line in-between a family with a little boy dying to meet Tinker Bell and a little girl who believe it or not wanted to see Vidia. I thought it was very cute and started a conversation with both of them about the Fairies and other Disney-ish things. The parents were glad because both of them had been a little rowdy. We were let in and to our pleasure Tink had arrived. She was there with Rosetta and Silver Mist. I'd met the Rosetta before but the Tink and Sil were new to me. The Rosetta was very funny, even Emmy who thinks fairies though cute, are childish, was laughing. She told us about making fireworks with Iridessa and she even made the forget-me-not joke to Emmy who thought it was funny. Tink made a deal over Emmy's Tinker Bell necklace that she was wearing. Silver Mist was being very "Sil" like and just being a little "lost" she thought it was cool that I sewed though XD. Though Sil may not be my favorite fairy in the movies and books I have to admit I love meeting her at the parks. (but then again I love meeting ALL of them in the parks even Iridessa) And the Silver Mist's are always so pretty. We left and went to go met Emmy's dad, stepmom and grandparents to ride Space Mountian. Emmy's dad was real sweet and the rest of the family was nice. I wish her brother had come, he's fun to be around. After Space Mountian we parted ways and rode Buzz Lightyear. The wait was thirty minutes but just as we were about to get in line someone ran up to us and said "Do you want some Fast passes for this ride for right now?"
For those of you who don't know what a fast pass is, its a ticket you can buy that let's you skip the lines and go right to the front. It's only from certian times though so you can't buy it and then use ot right away, usually it's like an hour to wait from when you buy it to when you get to use it. Well we were excited and took them right away. We waited three minutes to ride the ride. I'm usually beast at that game but I wasn't feeling 100% that day (I didn't know it but I was coming down with an upper respitory infection) so Emmy scored better then me(u should see me at the Men in Black ride at Universial I always get high score)we left tomarrow land and hurried over to Pirates of the Carribeian. I was hoping to see Peter Pan or Captian Hook but no cigar. We ran into one of the lines the less crowded of the two becuase people think its the fast pass line (There is no fast pass line at the pirates ride) and got on in ten minutes.
However we noted that on our boat there was a lot of fat people, and they were all sitting on the left (I'm the perfect weight for my height and ge but Emmy's a little on the heafty side and she too was on the left) so our entire boat was leaning toward the left. That made me and Emmy a little worried. But we pushed past it and enjoyed the Pirates Ride (The ORIGINAL and the second Pirate movies were fantastic I own both of them and watch them all the time. I love Kiera Knightly in everything she does and Jhonny Depp is a fantastic actor) On the last leg of the ride, the part with the prisoners and the dog with the keys we stopped. We all gathered it was because a wheelchair was getting out. that happens a lot. But then the two boats before us left and we didn't. Me and Emmy were really worried then. Finally a lady popped out from the back randomly with a flashlight and told us "Hey everybody put your hands up!" we did looking at each other in a "WTF is this?" way. Then she told us to rock to the left and then to the right and then to the left again and then to the right again. I realized (and told Emmy and the English woman beside me) were roacking the boat. Were stuck! Our lopsided boat had got jamed becuase of the fat people. It was like that scene in the thrid movie when they tip the boat. We finally rocked it free and moved on but me and Emmy laughed about that for hours.
We then left and rode the Peter Pan ride. We noted how dispaportiaonal everything is. For example, we have huge flowers next to us but a tiny ship just a few inches from us. We noted it was about a five foot jump from our boat to the bottom. After that we ran to Tink''s Treasures only to find that it's been redone and is now named "Castle Corture" and that it's no longer a Tink store but a princess and Tink store. I almost cried. I never liked princesss (except for Belle who kicks ass and Mulan but she's not even really a princess they just put her in there so there would be an asian princess)
We spotted Prince Eric and Ariel(in human form) I wanted to meet them because I never see Eric and he was the only prince bseides Beast who I liked as a child. But the line was LONG so we passed. The Eric was SO funny though, we were watching him play with the children. He chased one making kissing noises. And kept making silly faces. We also passed Jasmine the Genie and Aladian. I wouldn't have minded meeting Genie but again I passed because the line was long. We went back to Toon Town and waited again in the fairies line. I was freaking out because It wasn't 4:00 yet(it was 3:36 when we got in line and it was 3: 54 when we got close enough to the front that we would be part of the enxt group they let in.) so I entertained myself by playing patty cake with a girl behind me. We also discussed her meeting with Belle, Aurora and Cinderella. She apparently shared a love with me for Belle because she kept talking about her. I asked her who her favorite fairy was and she said Fawn :D. I love Fawn. She asked me the same question and I told her Terence. She giggled and said "Terence isn't a fairy! He's a sparrow man!" I thought that was hillarious. Fianlly at 4:02 they let the next group in. I was part of it, and sure enough there was Fawn, Tink and Terence. I heard the little girl squeal when she saw Fawn. Our Fawn liked my necklace (it was different then the Fawn I dubbed "Muffin Fawn") but she looked a lot like Fawn that's for sure. She even had the freckles! The Tink we saw THAT time was the Tink I dubed "Peter's Tink" because when we met the first time she told me a secret about never growing up that Peter told her and she kept making fun of Wendy when I told her about meeting her.
The Terence I saw this time was different then the usual Terence we run across (Who we call "Prince Charming Terence" because a lot of girls and older teens get charmed by him when they meet him) I think this one might have been new. Because I've seen two different Terences before but not this one. He had similar features to "Prince Charming Terence" and at first I thougt it was him. But his voice is deeper and his eyes are more brown then the others. He's also a tad bit paler and taller(he was a smidge taller then me and the other two are my height) I could also tell he wasn't AS comfortable as the other two were. He was a great Terence but he was still trying to find his comfort zone. Again pressing that he's probably new. He was funny though he saw my friend's bright colored shirt and asked if she flew through a rainbow. He told me "Even to clumsy rainbows are a big things to fly through, I usually only get through one color and thats brown." Emmy said "There's no brown in the rainbow." he responded "Well yes actually there is you just can't see it." I laughed. We started posing to take pictures with him. I always keept my distance from characters and never really touch them (don't ask me why I do this, I just do) and he I guess caught on to it becuase he told me "Come on get nice and close like catfish" I didn't get that, I don't think catfish get close. When we looked at the camera he shouted "Asparagous!" and both me and Emmy laughed at the randomness. Later when we started to go he held out his hand and said "Wait we have to shake hands" and I did, Emmy did to but with more relunctance. And he told us to come back and fly with him again soon. I do hope I get to meet him again in the future. He was funny. Emmy liked him too, which is good because she doesn't really like Terence because to her he's a "pretty boy" and she supports Tink/Peter. After that we just rode everything we had already ridden again and Thunder Mountian.
Sadly over the time I was there I was getting sicker and sicker. I thought it was just my allergies acting up again. They always do that every season change. But it wasn't just my nose being stuffy. Over the cource of the day I began losing my voice, by the end of the day I could only whisper. And I kept coughing up flim and had trouble catching my breath. This morning I had a fever and was so bad I couldn't get out of bed. My mom's friend whose a nurse diagnoised me with Upper Respitory Infection. Tomarrow I'm going to get a perscription written for some antbiotics. I hope this doesn't put a damper on my camp next week.
Yeah next week I'm going to my bible camp up in North Carolina, it's a fun week long camp in which we all go hiking, swimming, draw(or in the younger ones case make crafts) and play games like Apples to Apples and Charades. We do do churchy stuff like have morning and evening prayer and have to attend bible study. But being a strong Christan myself, and not being able to attend Chruch on Sundays because I work at the Nursery I don't mind the Morning and Evening Prayers and our Bible Study teacher is so super smart but young and funny and we can talk about just anything with him no matter how adult or ridiculous it is. We always try to ask dumb questions so that he can give us long complicated and amusing answers. We also get to go to bonfires and play sports (I stick to Vollyball, Kickball and Soccer since those are the only three sports I'm good at) and sometimes we get to watch a series of movies know as Veggietales. These movies were the bomb when I was growing up in a strict christan household with a father that only let me watch Veggietales Disney and Bible Man. (When I was about six and my dad would go to chruch for evening prayer my mom would let me watch Sex and the City with her and South Park) I still love them because they have both children and adult humor mixed in with them.

Another things is that everyone at the camp loves everyone. Were all friends and theres no real drama going on. The boys and the girls don't get mixed up in crushes or relationships. Were all just friends. A couple of years ago there was a boy there (he was two years older then me) whom every girl crushed on. But it was more of a silly, he's the cutest guy at the camp kind of crush, nothing really serious. Me and him were really good friends and we still keep in touch (he's from North Carolina) and there was also a black boy named Marice who was hillarious that I was friends with and even though he was sixteen and I had only been fourteen at the time we were best buds for a week and there had been a few rumors that I liked him, but that done away with quickly when Marice told us all about his girlfriend. The truth was I didn't have crush on him at all. I just get along better with guys then girls and I though Marice was fun to hang out with.
I do like the girls at the camp though. Stacie, Caitlin, Destiny, Ashley, Emma, Marielle, Lauren, Kayla are great friends of mine and I talk to them all the time (Caitlin and Destiney go to my church, the others are from south and North Carolina) our Cabin Queen Miss Tina is like everyone's super cool grandma, the boys cabin King Mr. Mike is like the super cool grandpa. Then we have mr Steirn who is like our super cool Uncle. And the cabin's owner this Austriallan guy who visits every now and then. He's funny. The food's good, and the scenery is beautiful and for one week I get to let go of all the drama of my life and just relax with friends and be closer to God then I usually am.
sadly though this is my last year. me and Caitlin (who have been going since we were seven and were allowed in the camp) are "phasing out" it's sad for us since we have been here since the second and third year that this thing started up. Caitlin's sister Chelsea had been going here since the camp first started. It's bittersweet going there. But I'm going to make the most of it.
I.E Starting the 21st of June there is going to be a camp called Camp Pixie Dust in Pixie Hollow. We will be camping and telling bonfire stories. Lyria will be visiting periodiclly throughout the camp to hear your campfire stories and tell her own as well as just to chat with her fellow fairies. Be warned though Lyria is a bit shy, so it make take time for her to really open up ;)
